Dimebag, gone but never forgotten

Today makes 6 years since the world of metal has lost one of the greats.   Darrell "Dimebag" Abbott was murdered while playing a concert with his latest band, Damageplan, at the Alrosa Villa in Columbus, Ohio.
He may have left us in the physical world, but his music and talent will live on forever.  I was at the Hard rock in Mississippi a few months ago and had my picture taken next to one of his guitars.  When I read the plaque, I was amazed to see that Hurricane Katrina had tried to wash it out to see, but it was later found and hung in rock glory.  I thought to myself that was proof that Dimebag will never die because his music will always surround us.  Even the greatest natural disaster in recent U.S. history couldn't take that away. So I say, raise your glass and say cheers to the man, the myth, the legend!
