Last week on That Metal Show, they had a top 5 list showcasing who they thought was the best top 5 bands in the Hard Rock Heavy Metal genre for recent years.  Well, I did not agree with their list so I decided to share with you my own list.

R.I.P. Mike Starr

We lost a talented bassplayer in Mike Starr.  For those of you who do not know, he is the original bassist for Alice in Chains.  May God watch over his family and friends in their time of need.  He was only 44 years old.  He goes to joine fellow bandmate Layne Staley in Rock 'N' Roll heaven.
